Microsoft’s new adapter let’s you use an Xbox One controller on any Windows 10 tablet or PC

Microsoft has a new adapter (ad) that will allow you to use an Xbox One controller on any Windows 10 tablet or PC. The adapter is USB based, so all you needs is a Windows 10 device with a USB slot and you will be ready to go.

The adapter will be available October 20th and only connects with Xbox One controllers.  There are already several Windows 10 optimized games out there for you to enjoy, including Gears of War and Minecraft.

Microsoft is really making an effort to have all their devices work together, and that includes the Xbox One. Using the Xbox One app for Windows 10, you can stream games from Xbox One to a Windows 10 device. Now you’ll be able to use your Xbox One controller when sat at your Windows 10 desktop and play the new Halo 5: Guardians (once it is released on October 27th).
